Indiana Weather

Just a random post asking Mother Nature to bring us back our warm weather!

On a related note, regardless of the weather, the Wabash Baseball team has already begun the new stadium’s inaugural season. Speaking of this, there is an alumni game scheduled for April. Check out the College’s website for details!

from Mark Ellis

Received an update from brother Mark Ellis:

“We all left in May of 2008 to go our separate ways.  I took my chances with Wells Fargo Financial, down in Bloomington, IN.  Without getting into too much detail or bashing of a specific company, that situation didn’t go well for a Wabash Man.  A couple others can say the same thing.

Little Giants take Conference

The Track & Field team edged out Ohio Wesleyan, the winner of the last three indoor NCAC meets, by a score of 208 to 202 to win the 2011 NCAC Indoor Track and Field title.  Some little giants!

Cavemen?

For those of you in or around Indianapolis, the IAWM hosts an event each February for Wabash men and their wives/fiancees/girlfriends/dates.  In previous years it was a Valentine’s Day event, but this year it was moved a week and labeled the Winter Gala.  Regardless of title, it’s a great chance to show that we can clean up and shake our “caveman” image.

This year it was at the brand new JW Marriott.  Keep your eyes out for next year’s event!
